The Silver membership at 59 EUR/month gives unlimited gym use from 5.00 to 23.00. Gold adds the group classes. Both are open-ended subscriptions billed monthly to a payment card and cancellable in the app. Single visit 15 EUR (valid one week) and a 10-visit card 119 EUR (valid 10 weeks). New members get a free InBody measurement and 3 months of the Step2Fit training app.

Fixed-term memberships: 1 month 50 EUR, 3 months 135 EUR, 6 months 240 EUR and 12 months 390 EUR. The annual card can also be paid in instalments of 40 EUR/month plus a 10 EUR opening fee. Single visit 8 EUR during staffed hours. Students and pensioners get -10%, family card 350 EUR per person.

Access time is loaded onto a personal electronic access tag bought from the municipal web shop (kauppa.laukaa.fi). Adults: 1 month 35 €, 3 months 90 €, 6 months 160 €, 1 year 210 €. Under-18s, students, unemployed, pensioners and conscripts: 1 month 20 €, 3 months 45 €, 6 months 70 €, 1 year 95 €. Free for over-70s. Everyone also buys the access tag for 27.95 €. Smartum, ePassi and Edenred are accepted (not for the tag itself). A carer with a Kela assistant card gets in free. Under-16s may train independently after completing a gym pass course, and there is a free weekly Open Gym slot for ages 12–16. Free exercise counselling helps with getting started. The gym is closed to other users during municipally organised group activity.
Mon–Fri 5:30–7:45 and 16:00–22:00, Sat–Sun 6:00–22:00. During the school year the gym is reserved for the school Mon–Fri 8:00–16:00.

Laukaa church village is the municipality's administrative centre, on the western shore of lake Saraavesi, 23 kilometres from Jyväskylä along regional road 637. Just over 8,000 people live here, close to half the municipality, and services are those of a full small town: health centre, main library, the upper comprehensive and upper secondary schools sharing a building, a vocational campus. Settlement grew around the church of 1834, and the national housing fair was held here in 2003.
There are three gyms, all within walking distance of each other; the furthest is 400 metres from the centre. One is the municipal gym attached to a school, which shows in both its opening hours and its price. One address is open around the clock. Two of the three run instructed classes, a high share for a place this size.
None of the three offers a free trial. Worth knowing in advance: you choose by walking in and asking about a single visit or a short pass, not by booking online. Monthly cards run from 35 to 59 euros, median 50. With three gyms in the village nothing pushes prices down, and there is no cheap high-volume card.
If three is not enough, the next tier is towards Jyväskylä. The village has its own bus station with regional services, so attaching the gym to a commute is realistic rather than an extra drive. Laukaa has more sport than the gym count suggests: the Peurunka sports and spa centre is in the same municipality.
