Central Lieto has three gyms. That is the entire choice and there is no point dressing it up. All three lie within a kilometre of the old church village core, and if none of them suits you, the next option is in Turku. The centre is still a church village at heart, even though the municipality became a city in the summer of 2022 and the population is now over 20,700.
Prices run from 37.90 to 46.90 euros a month with a median of 46.90. That is a narrow band, under ten euros, so price will not separate them — the decision comes down to opening hours and location. Two are open at any time of day and one offers a free trial visit. None has a sauna and none is women-only. Two run group classes.
One of the three is the gym in the municipal sports hall, the largest indoor venue in Lieto, which also has a climbing wall. On weekdays the building belongs to the schools; evenings and weekends go to clubs and residents. Lieto has no swimming hall at all: the one in Tarvasjoki closed in 2020, and the nearest pools are in Raisio and Turku. The city began planning a hall of its own in 2026.
Turku is about thirteen kilometres away, twenty minutes or so by car along the old Härkätie. If you commute in that direction, a chain membership may serve you better than a local card. But only if you actually stop on the way: three gyms nearby beat a good intention.
