This exercise is designed for beginners to learn how to safely control the speed of the non-motorized treadmill. Focus on smooth movement and good posture.
Step onto the belt and hold the handrails firmly.
Begin by walking slowly, taking small steps and pushing the belt back with your feet to initiate movement.
Once you feel stable, increase your pace by moving slightly forward on the curved surface and lengthening your stride.
To slow down, move towards the back of the belt and shorten your steps until the treadmill comes to a complete stop.
Repeat, walking for 5-10 minutes while maintaining a controlled pace.
