This exercise targets the rear deltoids and upper back muscles. Keep your back straight and avoid using momentum.
Adjust the handles to the rearmost position and set the seat. Sit facing the machine with your chest against the pad.
Grasp the handles with palms facing each other or down. Keep your arms nearly straight with a slight bend in the elbows.
Pull the handles back and out to the side in a wide arc, squeezing your shoulder blades together at the end of the movement.
Pause briefly, then slowly and controllably return your arms to the starting position.
