The Peurunka spa and sports resort has two gyms that the public can use on their own without staying at the hotel. The main gym runs over two floors: a free-weight zone with Eleiko racks plus a machine area upstairs, and a step-free HUR pneumatic gym with removable benches downstairs. Gym visits and memberships include sauna and shower.

Access time is loaded onto a personal electronic access tag bought from the municipal web shop (kauppa.laukaa.fi). Adults: 1 month 35 €, 3 months 90 €, 6 months 160 €, 1 year 210 €. Under-18s, students, unemployed, pensioners and conscripts: 1 month 20 €, 3 months 45 €, 6 months 70 €, 1 year 95 €. Free for over-70s. Everyone also buys the access tag for 27.95 €. Smartum, ePassi and Edenred are accepted (not for the tag itself). A carer with a Kela assistant card gets in free. Under-16s may train independently after completing a gym pass course, and there is a free weekly Open Gym slot for ages 12–16. Free exercise counselling helps with getting started. The gym is closed to other users during municipally organised group activity.
Mon–Fri 5:30–7:45 and 16:00–22:00, Sat–Sun 6:00–22:00. During the school year the gym is reserved for the school Mon–Fri 8:00–16:00.
The Silver membership at 59 EUR/month gives unlimited gym use from 5.00 to 23.00. Gold adds the group classes. Both are open-ended subscriptions billed monthly to a payment card and cancellable in the app. Single visit 15 EUR (valid one week) and a 10-visit card 119 EUR (valid 10 weeks). New members get a free InBody measurement and 3 months of the Step2Fit training app.

Fixed-term memberships: 1 month 50 EUR, 3 months 135 EUR, 6 months 240 EUR and 12 months 390 EUR. The annual card can also be paid in instalments of 40 EUR/month plus a 10 EUR opening fee. Single visit 8 EUR during staffed hours. Students and pensioners get -10%, family card 350 EUR per person.
