PTVGYM Turku is a gym of over 1,000 square metres on Postikatu, equipped for everyone from the complete beginner to the elite competitor. For bodybuilding there are plenty of plate-loaded and selectorised machines for every muscle group, a range of cable stations, specialty bars and dumbbells from 1 to 80 kg. The powerlifting side has competition benches, squat stands including a monolift, deadlift areas, calibrated plates, specialty bars for every lift, plus resistance bands and chains; chalk is allowed. For weightlifting there are 20 kg and 15 kg bars on smooth bearings, bumper plates and platforms built so that weights can be dropped from lockout. Functional training uses a 20-metre turf track for sled pushes, yoke carries and farmer's walks. Cardio equipment includes treadmills, cross trainers, assault bikes, stair machines and rowers.
